Mrs. Pickett graduated from Caruth School of Dental Hygiene, Baylor College of Dentistry in 1966 with a B.S.-Dental Hygiene Degree, and worked as a dental hygienist in general dentistry.  In 1969 she entered the graduate program in Dental Hygiene Education, University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry, receiving her Master’s Degree in 1970.  Her teaching career includes over 30 years experience.
